Selenite is a naturally clear or opaque material formed from crystals of gypsum. Light passes through it easily, creating a warming glow. Selenite is a gypsum based crystal and can be soft, brittle and water will break it down so care should be taken not to use too much water if you are cleaning the wand or piece of Selenite.
